Fundraiser May 2014

I want to thank everybody who was able to come help at our fundraiser at Town & Country Supermarket in Willow Springs. They gave us permission to use their cook trailer to setup a food stand for 4 hours. Eight members worked the stand and it wasn't long before we had an assembly line going. The profits will help toward our rental costs for the upcoming August 30th Breed/Obedience & Rally Fun Match at the West Plains Civic Center. ~ Beth

Fund Raiser & Monday Training Updates

Our fund raiser at Town & Country Supermarket in Willow Springs is tomorrow.  If you can help, we will be at the store at 9:30 to set up and selling food until 2:00.  If you can only come for a short time that would be great also.  I'm sure somebody will be ready for a break.


Monday is the 1st Monday of the month, so we will be training at Risner Stable in West Plains starting at 6:30.   I'll be bringing the agility equipment.  Besides some obedience, I would like us to do a little conformation practice.  If you can't make it for the whole time, we will do conformation, obedience, then agility.

This Monday, April 21, will be our play day at Risner's. I'll bring the agility equipment again. We will do some obedience first. Also those of you in drill team, this will be our last practice before the show, April 26. We will start at 6:30. Feel free to come late if you can't make it that early. 1st Monday of the Month

It's the 1st Monday of the month. We will be meeting at Risner stable at 6:30. Since we haven't done agility in awhile, I had a request to bring the equipment. Those of you working on obedience, we will do some obedience to start the practice. If you want you can continue to work on obedience while others are doing agility or you can start learning agility. Drill team members - we will practice after. So if you can't make it at 6:30, please try to come around 7:45 - 8:00. We are usually done in 30 minutes. ~ Beth

Risner Stable Training

We have a 5th Monday in March so that means training at Risner Stable. We'll get started around 6:30. Drill team practice will follow. It is not too late to join the group doing drill. We will do a short performance at the APRI dog show on April 26th. All exercises are on leash. Just as a reminder we meet the 1st, 3rd and 5th Monday of the month. Now that the weather is more suitable for hauling a trailer, we'll get back on the old schedule of obedience and rally practice on the 1st Monday and agility on the 3rd Monday. ~ Betg
